Sam and Randi’s Nantucket Engagement

There are some sessions that are so magical that it’s hard to even get a post together because of all the wonderful emotions that come flooding back! This is one of those sessions. Our time with Randi and Sam this summer was something dreams are made of! We met out on the dock in Madaket and hopped on Sam’s boat to begin our journey out to the tiny island of Tuckernuck. I had heard so much about this little strip of land, but had never been. Before we headed out, we took some photos on the dock and they made a little loop out on the water alone. One of my favorite shots from the day is one of them heading out alone – Randi’s hand on Sam’s back. You could just feel the love! We met a couple of hours before sunset hoping to get some glowy light and that is exactly what we got! By the time we were on Tuckernuck Island, golden hour was upon us! The couple popped a bottle of champagne on the boat before having a little picnic that Randi set up so beautifully! Randi and Sam are kind, thoughtful, hilarious and just two of the sweetest people you could ever meet! These photos were so easy to capture because their joy and love is so genuine and contagious. I wish we could do it all over again – we had an absolute blast and we cannot wait to celebrate with them later this year! We are so happy they met and we are so grateful that we were there to capture these memories!  Cheers to Randi and Sam and a lifetime filled with happiness!
