ABOUT US

You're newly engaged, or your summer plans have been made and you're ready to hire a photographer who will not only capture the memories you're about to make, but also create an unforgettable experience.
You're in the right place and we are so happy you've found us!

Rebecca Love Photography began at the age of 15 when I "inherited" my older sister's camera. I was snapping pictures of my family, friends, co-workers and pretty much anyone who would let me. I knew I was hooked when I saw the joy on their faces as they looked through their photos. Fast forward about 10 years to my first visit to Nantucket Island where I met Jonathan, my husband to-be and forever partner in life and business.

There's an undeniable charm in exploring our grandparents' homes, leafing through weathered photo albums, and being captivated by images of our loved ones from eras before our time. Photographs possess an enchanting ability to transport us, rekindling the sensation of a first marital kiss, the overwhelming surprise during a proposal, the early stages of parenthood when our "babies" were indeed infants, and the heartwarming tears glistening in a father's eyes.

If I had to describe Rebecca Love Photography in one word, it would be "authentic". From who we are, what we've built over the years, how we've grown together as a team and ultimately what we deliver to our clients, authenticity is what we hope you will find when you work with us.

From humble beginnings taking photographs as a teenager, our business has been blessed to become one of the most fun and fulfilling experiences we could have ever imagined. Now parents of three (two little girls and one crazy black lab), we are familiar with life's inevitable chaos. But we also know the value of being able to preserve the memories of life in the midst of it all. Working as a husband and wife team, we rely on each other's vision and unique talents that blend together to deliver authentically beautiful memories for our clients.

We desire to capture your life’s moments through a lens with no pressure, no stress - just genuine, honest and beautiful. We know how fortunate we are to be able to serve our clients and we truly appreciate you trusting us to create a peaceful environment while we document your most cherished memories.

Our Family

JON, WILLOW AND POPPY ARE ALL NANTUCKET NATIVES AND I AM WHAT THEY CALL A "WASHASHORE". JON AND I DECIDED TO GIVE NANTUCKET A TRY SINCE IT WAS WHERE HE WAS BORN AND RAISED (AND WHERE WE MET).

Now, almost a decade later we can't imagine living and raising our girls anywhere else - Ok, maybe Hawaii, but that's it. Our girls are our everything. Willow is wild and free and has a head full of curls just like her Dad. She is completely in love with her new sister Poppy and takes very good care of her brother Benny our black lab. Our favorite kind of day starts with a latte for Mom, chasing Benny through the Moors, and snuggling up on the couch watching Netflix.

There is something so peaceful about living on an island. The air is always salty and our floors are always sandy. We have no traffic lights or chain stores, and in the off-season we recognize almost everyone that we pass in the grocery store. From Daffy Weekend in April to the 4th of July on Jetties Beach to Christmas Stroll in December, there is always something to look forward to. We are beyond grateful to live and work in such a beautiful place.

NANTUCKET ISLAND

If you've been to Nantucket, you know what the hype is all about. Yes, we're locals but we don't mind standing in the line that wraps around the corner for our favorite homemade ice cream. I can smell the waffle cones now!

Island Kitchen

Breakfast at IK has become somewhat of a weekend tradition for our family. Another spot where the line is long, but the wait is worth it. I can't remember what life was like before their chocolate chip pancakes.

Miacomet Beach

Our go-to beach for drive-on sunsets. The winters are long and chilly here, but we still make it out for beach sunsets and Miacomet is our favorite spot to let Benny out for a run while we jam out in the Jeep and watch the sun slip below the horizon.
