A Rainy Weekend on Nantucket

Erin and Matt had always wanted to visit Nantucket together so they planned their trip during the annual Daffodil Festival.  Erin had packed her cutest and most colorful outfits to wear for Daffy Day.  Although it rained and a few events were cancelled, that didn’t put a damper on their trip.

We were scheduled for a Sunday morning session and just as I arrived to pick them up at The White Elephant, the sky opened up and down came the rain.  Erin suggested we move the session inside but I assured her we could find some covered areas around town. We headed out to Sconset and thankfully, the rain turned into a drizzle.  We walked the Sconset Bluff and visited the Sankaty Lighthouse. They were so happy to be able to see more of the island. We finished our session in town, and by then the sun was on it’s way out! It really was a special morning and a pleasure meeting this beautiful couple.
