A Gray Getaway // The Cove // Eleuthera

After an exciting year working and playing on Nantucket Jon and I decided it was time to take a trip – one of those DO NOTHING trips somewhere really beautiful. We looked into a few all inclusive options and almost booked one. It wasn’t until my Mother warned me that I was going to gain a lot of weight from the all-you-can-eat-and-drink that we decided maybe we would look in a different direction – good call Mom! 

Our friends had told us about a beautiful island in the Bahamas – Eleuthera. They had honeymooned there a few years back and highly recommended a visit. We did a quick google search for resorts in Eleuthera and The Cove was the first result that popped up. It took us about five minutes to decide that this was the place for us. We booked our trip the same day and started counting down the days. We flew out just after Thanksgiving and arrived in paradise on a beautiful, windy day. 

The Cove is a place of total relaxation. We were completely surrounded by beauty. Every detail was impressive – from the kind and personable staff to the soundtrack at the Gregory Town Grille. We had a truly amazing time and we cannot wait to go back!
