It’s Been Cold…

This winter marks my 3rd winter on Nantucket. It’s been a wild ride this month! Blizzards, power outages, frozen water, cancelled boats – I’m ready for Spring! As crazy as the weather has been here on Nantucket, nothing compares to how bad the Boston area has been hit! As we drove home from Maryland last weekend, we saw the snow piles grow from a couple of inches to possibly over 6 feet! When will it stop!?

There’s nothing like the morning after a major blizzard – especially when the sun is shining. Everything looks like a magical ice castle. Jon, Benny and I headed out just after Juno hit to take a few photos. It was a beautiful day and it ended with a most beautiful sunset! Next blizzard I’m promising to take more photos and go on a few more adventures!
