Lydia & Matt // Maternity // Town Pier

I first met Lydia and Matt during an impromptu photo session out at Bartlett’s Farm. We had planned to meet to take some black and white portraits of Lydia for my Black & White Project. We decided to turn it into a mini session and take photos of the newly married couple out on the farm. We had a great time laughing and getting to know each other. Fast forward a year and Lydia is about to give birth to their first baby and I’m about 4 months behind her!

I was so delighted when Lydia contacted me to take their final photos as a family of two! We rescheduled a couple of times and were finally able to meet downtown last week about an hour and a half before sunset. We hadn’t decided on a location so at the last minute we headed over to the town pier to try for some shots on the dock. Unfortunately, the docks were closed due to construction so we hopped over to the beach and decided we’d shoot along side the docks. The spot ending up being ideal! Here are a few of my favorites from our session. So excited for this family – Can’t wait to hear the news when Scarlett arrives!
