Nantucket White Elephant Wedding // Katie & Baptiste

When I first met Katie and Baptiste, I knew their special day was going to be a beautiful, fun, stress-free day. I was absolutely right. The day was filled with laughter, happy tears and lots of dancing. There is absolutely no denying the connection between this sweet couple couple – they were made for each other!

Katie and Baptiste decided they wanted to do a “First Look” and I have to say, it was one of the most precious first looks I have ever witnessed. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the photos below!

We began the day getting ready at a beautiful house off of Cliff Road and then headed over to Main Street and Straight Wharf for some pre-wedding photos. The White Elephant was our next and final stop of the day. The weather was perfect as the couple exchanged vows overlooking the water. One of the most exciting moments of the day was when Baptiste found out about the surprise Katie had for him just after they said “I DO”.  Katie had arranged a boat to be ready for the couple to sail off into the sunset, and although Baptiste had never driven a boat before, he was thrilled to be behind the wheel! I was able to sneak in the back of the boat as the newlyweds sailed around Brant Point enjoying the gorgeous views. The party began when the boat docked and didn’t end until the final sparkler went out. It was a beautiful and memorable day!

Congratulations Katie & Baptiste!
