Kyle & Michelle // Engagement // Nantucket, MA

I first met Kyle and Michelle in 2013 – my first summer on Nantucket.  The perfect pair who have been together for years (going on almost 10)! We had a great first summer and it was so fun to see them back again in 2014. They decided they would change their plans for the summer of 2015 and not return for another summer on Nantucket. It was sad news to say the least! When I heard they were coming out to the island for a wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited!

Leading up to their arrival, Kyle had reached out to me to see if I’d be available for some special photos during their stay. He told me he was planning on proposing and I couldn’t contain my excitement. I think I screamed. He planned out every detail and I gave him few tips. The big day arrived and a few of us met out at Tupancy Links for a nice walk on a foggy Nantucket evening. As soon as we arrived to the cliff’s edge, Kyle dropped to his knee and popped the question. Michelle was in shock and of course said YES! It was such a beautiful time.

The next day we headed out to Miacomet for some engagement photos. It was such a relief to find a full field of flowers still in bloom. We started in the field and made a couple of other stops on our way to Steps Beach for the grand finale. It was a special evening I will never forget. It was truly a pleasure being able to capture this special time in their lives. I am so excited for their new life together! Congratulations Kyle and Michelle!  The best is yet to come!
