Nantucket Blizzard // Helena 2017

My mother was scheduled to head off island this weekend after a nice long visit. We started to hear reports of a blizzard heading our way. They said a few inches to start which turned into 6-8 and then 12 and then 12-18. We hunkered down with plenty of hot chocolate and movies. The end result was about 8-10 inches and a winter wonderland!

Winter is in full swing on the island and it’s time to start planning some mini vacations. This weekend, we’ll be heading to Burlington, VT for a little skiing and a lot of relaxing! We are so thankful for the quiet months ahead to rest and prepare for an exciting and busy summer which will be here before we know it. Willow is growing so fast – I wish I could slow her down. She loves running, facetiming with her grandparents, reading books and giving hugs to her brother Benny. She just discovered his long ears and she’s been pulling on them. He so gentle and patient with her. They are going to be best buds for sure!
