Another Day, Another Lighthouse

I know what you might be thinking…Do I only visit lighthouses when I leave the house in the winter? The answer is…most of the time! When Willow needs a nap and it’s just not happening, I pop her in the car and we head out for a nice long drive. Today, we ended up at Sankaty Lighthouse. It was a beautiful, sunny day and if it hadn’t been for the wind, it might have felt like spring! Driving around in the winter is cathartic – not many people on the roads and I usually always notice something I’ve never noticed before. I love our drives and I love winter on Nantucket.
