Meg & Dave’s Daffy Day Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing a perfectly intimate Daffy Day elopement on Nantucket last month. Meg owns a Yoga studio here on island and Dave works at the local Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. They live in a magical house surrounded by daffodils and a bamboo forest. Love surrounded every detail of the day. It was obvious and undeniable.

It was clear Meg & Dave were soulmates from the moment I met them. They were married on their back porch surrounded by their closest friends and family. It’s difficult to put into words how lovely this wedding was. From the VW bug in the driveway decorated in daffodils to the way the light fell on the flowers popping up in the yard, Meg was a classic beauty. Her dress was so elegant and unique. Dave’s eyes lit up when he saw her walk up to meet him. It’s no surprise, she was glowing! After they said I DO Meg put a record on while their guests enjoyed champagne. We snuck out as the sun was setting for some photos around their property, in front of their favorite trees and finished the evening looking up at the moon peeking through the trees. It was a Daffy Day I will never forget! Cheers to Meg & Dave!
