Jamie & Will’s Nantucket Engagement // Sankaty, Brant Point & Madaket

Jamie and Will are set to be married next year and wanted some engagement photos in Nantucket as it is such a special place for both of them! It’s their family’s second home and they couldn’t think of a better place to capture the memories of their engagement! We started our session out at Sankaty Lighthouse with their ADORABLE pup Sandy! She was such a good girl and posed for every shot! Having a dog incorporated in our sessions is so much fun for us because they really help get the genuine smiles and always make for a good laugh! She was being such a model that we all couldn’t stop laughing. The perfect way to get our favorite kind of shots!

Our next stop was the Compass Rose in town and then off to Brant Point Lighthouse. I was able to get a few shots of Jamie’s engagement ring while at the lighthouse and noticed the initials ACK engraved in the band. How perfect! Sandy strolled the beach with them and enjoyed chasing some seagulls. Our final stop was Madaket for sunset. This is where Jamie’s family home is so this was one of their only must-have spots when discussing locations. We couldn’t have asked for a better sunset – it was glowy goodness as they laughed and played on the beach. We headed over to the Madaket bridge to find the purple sky reflecting off the harbor.
