Tyler & Kaitlyn’s Nantucket Surprise Proposal

Tyler secretly reached out to me to discuss his surprise proposal plan. There’s nothing more exciting for me than to hear about something so special. Nantucket had become their happy place over the years and he couldn’t have imagined a better and more romantic place to pop the big question to the love of his life! Tyler and Kaitlyn have been dating since they were 16 years old! Tyler took Kaitlyn to prom 9 years ago. They became best friends and will soon be husband and wife!

Tyler’s plan was to take Kaitlyn over to the Brant Point Lighthouse, one of her favorite Nantucket spots, walk around a bit and then get down on one knee when she least expected it. He nailed the plan and the best part is that they had the place to themselves! Brant Point is usually packed with tourists but not on this magical evening. Just as I was pulling in I noticed some heavy fog roll in over the water. At first I was a little concerned Tyler would be nervous about the Grey Lady fog that had moved in but when I looked out over the water and saw how beautiful it was, I sent the text that everything was good to go and I was in position. It really was a beautiful night and setting. Their colorful outfits popped and a dreamy layer of fog covered the water surrounding the lighthouse. It was something out of a Nicholas Sparks movie. Kaitlyn was completely surprised as happy tears rolled down her cheeks. I felt so lucky to be able to capture all of the special moments for them. I know I say it a lot, but they were truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met! Congratulations to Tyler & Kaitlyn! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!
