Katie & Jim’s Nantucket Spring Wedding at Galley Beach

Katie and Jim’s story starts back in June 2016 when I photographed Jim’s surprise proposal to Katie at Tupancy Links during their daily run. What an incredibly special moment! I was so thrilled when Katie reached out a few months later to ask if I would photograph their wedding day the following spring at St. Mary’s Church with a small Galley Beach reception to follow. Their wedding day arrived with a light sprinkle – just enough to make the colors pop around the island. We drove out to Sconset & Sankaty Lighthouse in Rob Sarkasian’s beautiful vintage 1951 Buick for some portraits and then back to town and Galley to dance the night away. It was truly a wonderful day celebrating with Katie, Jim, their families and closest friends. We love looking back at these photos to re-live the day!
