Rob and Whitney met in 2011 at a Halloween party! It was only fate that their two best friends would date one another and would ultimately and unintentionally set them up! It wasn’t love at first sight but after a persistent effort from both parties they decided to start dating 7 months later and never looked back!
From the Bride:
“The people are what make a wedding all it’s cracked up to be! We were so excited to have our most favorite people under one tent out to sea! Getting married on an island leaves your guests with little opportunity to leave early which made it a continuous party throughout the extended weekend! Being able to spend so much time with those that mean the most to you is the greatest gift! Another highlight was the energy all day and night! We found it was achieved by our killer band which led no one back to their empty seats and created energy so strong it was palpable! The reception will always reign as one of our very favorite moments! But there are truly so many little moments that make a big day. A hawk soar over head as we all prepared for the day and made its presence clear. We took it as a beautiful sign from Rob’s parents. They were watching over us all day long and that was an incredible feeling! Having our family a part of our day, whether it be hand painting table cards, sewing pillows, reading a Scottish blessing, speaking, marrying us or showing sign from above, made our day. You could feel the love all day long! It was such a beautiful thing to see two year long ideas collide and everyone’s hard work come to life and to then watch everyone enjoy it! All in all, the best part of our day were all the people who made the effort to travel to the island and dance the night away with us under tent and at The Box!”
We will never forget this day! It was a wedding that dreams are made of – from Whitney’s absolutely stunning dress to the most amazing dance moves we’ve ever seen – it was truly one for the books! We are so excited to finally share some highlights from their special day which we were so lucky to be a part of. Enjoy!
