Sconset and Sankaty Lighthouse Nantucket, MA | Rachel & Matt’s Engagement

I met Rachel and Matt out at the Sconset Market on a beautiful Spring evening for their engagement photos. We strolled through the empty town of Sconset stopping at some of my favorite spots — the bluff walk, the bridge and of course the beach! I’m so happy they decided to include their sweet pup Callaway! She was so sweet and posed like a pro for me. We chatted about their upcoming wedding in Florida and how and when they met. It was so fun getting to know this sweet couple! They changed into their second outfit and we headed over to the Sankaty Lighthouse for some sunset shots. On my drive over to the lighthosue, I noticed a side street that was lined with the most beautiful white cherry blossoms. I knew we’d have to go back and get a few shots there before we ended our session, and that’s exactly what we did. If the sun hadn’t gone down, I would have kept taking photos into the night.
