Kaleigh and Brian’s Nantucket Wedding | The Dreamland Theatre | Nantucket, MA

Kaleigh and Brian were married at Nantucket’s iconic Dreamland Theatre on a gorgeous August afternoon! The day was filled with so much love. One of our favorite memories from the day was the peace and calmness that was woven throughout. There was never a moment of stress or feeling rushed. We started the day at the house the couple was getting ready at, and along with their friends and family, we shared laughs, happy tears, and their First Look. After their First Look and a few family photos, we headed off to town for some portraits before they would walk down the aisle to say I DO. We stopped by the Compass Rose Wall, strolled through town and over to Old North Wharf, and the absolute BEST part was their stop at CRU. The couple, along with their lovely planner, Caroline of Milly and Grace Weddings, had arranged for some time to sit down together and enjoy a glass of champagne overlooking the water. This was a first for us and it was a really special time – it allowed for the couple to be together alone before they would be celebrating with their closest friends and family for the rest of the night. We photographed from afar to capture a few of the moments they shared but ultimately allowed them to take in their time together uninterrupted.  When they were ready, we all headed to the Dreamland where the ceremony was about to begin!

The couple’s dog, Kita, walked Brian down the aisle and stayed right beside them for the entire ceremony. After sealing their marriage with a kiss, it was down to the waterfront for a few more photos with family and then back up to the party! The reception set up was absolutely stunning with gorgeous floral centerpieces, pennies-to-toss favors were perfectly placed at every setting with hand-tied rope sealing them in. LemonPress catered a delicious meal starting things off with their homemade chips and salsa. The donut holder on the dessert table was made by the groom himself! Every detail was perfectly in place and when Kaleigh looked around the room for the first time, tears of joy filled her eyes! Milly and Grace Weddings outdid themselves as always! Next up was dinner and then dancing! The Mike Benjamin Band sure knew how to get people up on their feet and I think guests would have stayed all night to hear them play if they were allowed! It was a true celebration of love and we were so thrilled to have been there to capture it all! Cheers to the happy couple! We can’t wait to see you on Nantucket island again soon!
