Brittany and Billy’s Gloucester Micro Wedding

2020 has been a year of change, a year of unknowns. Brittany and Billy had planned to be married this past August with their friends and family with a large celebration. Due to all of the unknowns and rule changes, they decided they would postpone their big celebration to next year, but still move forward with their ceremony. They made sure that their 12 guests all received a negative covid test before the big day. They decided they would have the ceremony right in front of their family home on Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA and it was nothing short of perfect. Brittany could see the ceremony being set up from the room where she was getting ready.

The morning was rainy and chilly, but just as their gorgeous floral arbor was hoisted up and secured, the rain cleared and the light was simply beautiful. The ceremony was performed by a family friend and Brittany and Billy’s sweet pup was the ring bearer. The few families that were scattered on the beach had all cleared out as Brittany and Billy said I Do. After the ceremony, we snuck away with the couple to the beautiful Gloucester Rocks overlooking the water for some portraits before heading over to their reception at Eastern Point Yacht Club. We took a few photos down by the water before heading up to their gorgeous seated candlelit dinner. It was the perfect micro wedding, and we cannot wait to celebrate again with them next year! Cheers to Brittany and Billy! Here are a few highlights from their day!
