Catherine & Joe’s Boston Engagement Photos

Catherine and Joe will be getting married this coming June and we couldn’t be more excited to be their photographers! I met them in Boston this summer for some engagement photos around the city. It was my first time photographing a full engagement in Boston, and let’s just say I could barely contain my excitement! The Willow trees, the duck boats, the bridges, the city skyline, the cobblestones – I was truly in heaven. Catherine’s outfits complimented the backdrops so perfectly, I couldn’t have imagined a better color scheme and Joe looked so dapper in his outfits – it was just the perfect session! Yes, the streets and sidewalks were crowded, but you can’t even tell in the photos! Just a little patience and some photography tricks, and the final images made me swoon. I could have spent the entire day strolling around the city with these two. After we walked around the pond and through the park, we headed over to the spot where Catherine and Joe got engaged – it was so fun to take some photos by this very special spot and the light was just perfect under the famous arch by Rowes Wharf. After a few photos under the arch (peep that perfect dip!), it was time for an outfit change and our next stop by the water in the Seaport District. I have ALWAYS wanted to do photos here and to finish out our session at sunset by the water, walking along the cobblestones was really a dream. I loved Catherine’s second outfit just as much as I loved her first! We had so much fun together! We’ll be over here counting down the days until their wedding day.
