Elizabeth & Colin’s Nantucket Engagement at Sankaty Lighthouse

The countdown is on for Elizabeth and Colin’s Chatham Bars Inn Wedding coming up next year. We couldn’t be more excited for them! We met on a gorgeous summer day in Sconset for their Nantucket engagement photos. The roses were still perfectly in bloom and the light was just right – glowy and golden. After our stroll through Sconset, we headed to the bridge for some photos on the bridge and under. Our next stop was Sankaty Lighthouse. They both went for an outfit change in between Sconset and Sankaty and it was a great idea as Elizabeth’s long, flowy dress complimented the lighthouse perfectly. Next, we were off to Brant Point for our final stop of the night. I had so much fun spending some time with this sweet couple and now they’ll be ready for portraits on their wedding day! That’s one of the reasons I always recommend doing an engagement session before the big day. If you’re anything like me, it can be awkward to get in front of the camera so getting some practice in really makes a big difference! Here are a few of my favorite shots from our night together.
