Hailey and Pete’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Straight Wharf was truly one for the books. From the very start, everything about the evening felt magical. The weather, the light, the heartfelt speeches, the incredible food, and most of all, the joy surrounding this wonderful couple. It was one of those Nantucket nights that you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.

I was absolutely thrilled when Hailey and Pete decided to slip away for a quick stroll down the docks for a few portraits. The harbor was glowing, and the soft golden light reflecting off the boats and water created the most beautiful backdrop. But the night had one more surprise for us. Later, as the light became even more extraordinary, we realized we simply had to go back out again. We headed down to the docks just after dinner, and it was more than worth it. Golden hour that evening was nothing short of dreamy — some of the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen on Nantucket.
