Chatham Bars Inn Wedding | Cape Cod, MA

I first met Steph and Charlie in Boston for their engagement photos on the Seaport docks. Can we take a moment for Steph’s engagement outfit? Certainly, one of my favorites ever! I instantly knew we would become fast friends and couldn’t wait for their Chatham Bars Inn Wedding later that year. The fun began at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. An intimate dinner with close friends and family which switched into an outdoor welcome party with more guests arriving to celebrate the happy couple.

Steph’s vision for the wedding weekend came to life and even included the blue sky wedding day she had been dreaming of. Blue and white hydrangeas covered the aisle and their ceremony arbor. It was a Cape Cod dream day and Steph couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle towards Charlie to say I Do. After getting ready photos, a few family and bridesmaid portraits, it was time! Steph was a true vision coming down the steps with her Father at her side. After exchanging vows and sealing them with a kiss, it was time for portraits. The perfect time to sneak away during cocktail hour to spend a few moments alone together. Next, it was back for the reception reveal. Steph was overjoyed when she stepped inside the boat house. After a little first dance practice, it was back out to cocktail hour for drinks.

The reception started off with a bang as the dancing began and the fun never stopped! After a couple of speeches and a lot of happy tears, we snuck the happy couple away once more during sunset and caught a most beautiful moon rise over the water. Next, it was time to cut the cake that was covered in more blue and white hydrangeas. Later in the night, Steph changed into her second dress which was beautiful! Here are a few highlights from their day, although it was hard to choose – too many favorites! Cheers to Steph and Charlie! We’re already looking forward to our next Chatham Bars Inn wedding.
