Kara & Zach’s Nantucket Engagement

I met Kara and Zach at the Hub for their engagement photos. We’ll be photographing their wedding this summer at the Nantucket Dreamland and we can’t wait! We started our session downtown as the sun hid behind some clouds and our classic Grey Lady fog rolled in. We felt like we had the entire town to ourselves, one of the perks of off-season e-sessions. We strolled down Main Street and ended up at Old North Wharf. The docks were as empty as the streets so we headed out to the end of the wharf for some shots at the water. It was windy and very chilly but Zach and Kara were such troopers! They might have had blue hands by the time we headed back to town but we  warmed them up in the car and it was worth it! We ended our session on Steps Beach. Just as we were finishing up, as they sat wrapped in a blanket the sun peeked out and we got some amazing light to end the night. It was such a beautiful night with this sweet couple. We are so looking forward to seeing them again this summer! Congratulations Kara & Zach!
