Kate & Billy’s Intimate Nantucket Wedding at the White Elephant

Kate & Billy were married on a gorgeous late September night on Nantucket. They were surrounded by a small and close group of family and friends as they exchanged their vows on the back lawn of the White Elephant. I had met Kate and Billy a few months before their wedding day when I took their Engagement photos. I knew their wedding was going to be so special after meeting them. They could very well be two of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They are just so sincere and caring. I hate to admit when I turn into mush during a wedding but this was definitely one of those weddings. I had to wipe the happy tears away more than a few times. It is so clear that Kate and Billy are soulmates. They met while on the same Masters swim team after college and the rest is history. Because swimming played such a big role in their relationship Kate had asked if it would be possible for their first look to be at a swimming pool. After making a few calls, the Nantucket Hotel kindly agreed to let us use their pool and it made for such an incredibly special moment. We feel so lucky to have been able to capture these memories for them. Congratulations Kate & Billy! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
