Sherry & Richard’s Nantucket Elopement at the Harborview Hotel

Sherry & Richard met while both attending dog agility classes. Between the two of them, they have 5 dogs together. Sherry referred to them as the Brady Bunch but as dogs as their children. They unexpectedly fell in love and have been together ever since. They knew they wanted to get married somewhere very special and had never been to Nantucket before. They did some investigating, found a beautiful hotel on the water and arranged a Pastor to come to their Harborview suite overlooking the water to marry them. It was one of the sweetest ceremonies I have witnessed. Richard’s told Sherry “you’ve turned our house into a home” and Sherry was wiping the tears from her eyes as they professed their love to each other.

After their living room ceremony, we started off on an adventure around the island. We started at the Brant Point Lighthouse and then headed out to Sconset to stroll through the little town and eventually made it to the Sankaty Lighthouse. We stopped at the pier near their hotel and finished the day with a photo of the happy couple with their dogs (the ones that made the trip to Nantucket). It was such a special day and I am so thankful to have been able to capture such special moments for the newlyweds. Cheers to Sherry & Richard!
